The U.S. Proposing New Round of Talks With China

Beijing received another chance from the Trump administration to try to stave off the new tariffs on 200$ billion in Chinese exports.

President Trump currently has a lot of political pressure to ease up on the trade fights. If he doesn’t, it might cost a Republican Party congressional control in November elections.

Chinese officials said that the Trump administration decisions are unpredictable and that they don’t trust U.S negotiators. They want to speak directly with the president.

This new outreach to Beijing comes less than a week after President Trump threatened not only to go forward with tariffs that are planned. But he also wants to add up another 267$ billion which would put duties effectively on all shipments from China into the United
